What is the DuraSeal® Treatment?

The DuraSeal® Treatment Includes: Sealing with Federally specified coal tar emulsion, containing 4-5 lbs. of sand aggregate per gallon. All surfaces will be machine cleaned, free of debris. We will trim all grass perimeters and remove all weeds. We will pretreat all gas and oil spots to insure proper bonding. Your new DuraSeal® treatment will provide a non-skid safety surface.

Chemicals accelerate the natural oxidation process. Gasoline, oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze and other fluids that leak from automobiles will dissolve the asphaltic binder. Water, which penetrates the pavement, stresses the asphalt and propagates cracks.  The sun's ultraviolet rays and heat will bake blacktop until it’s brittle and cracks. Heavy traffic can cause surface to crack also.

Sealing with a Coal-tar emulsion, which is not dissolved by petroleum products, can protect the pavement from all of these destructive factors. The natural elastic characteristics of your pavement are sealed in, while the damaging factors are sealed out.

Why DuraSeal®?
